Young adults who are part of our Dazzling Futures family are supported to develop and maintain respect for themselves and others, acquire or build on self-supporting essential life skills, access advice, and help in order to make informed, appropriate social and health care choices, and offered guidance whether considering the pros and cons concerning present and future educational and career opportunities and aspirations.

What We Offer

We work with commissioning authority teams from across Staffordshire, the West Midlands, London, Wales, and throughout the UK subject to our facilities being appropriate to the needs of the individual.

Dazzling Futures facilitates access to external organisations or in-house functional skills education tuition help in gaining employability skills, offering various levels of professional support based on the needs of the individual.

Our life-skills advice staff deliver 1:1 and group guidance. Coaching and support and are available on- and off-site 24 hours a day subject to, and as directed by, the needs of the commissioning authority and service user

Our supported communal accommodation is set up and carefully considered to provide a supportive, caring environment offering the following:

  • A shared modern open plan, fully furnished kitchen and living room facility, with communal and individual allocated groceries cupboard space and a secure COSHH facility.
  • 5-6 bedrooms all containing a newly fitted modern ensuite shower and toilet facilities, small double beds, a pin notice board, wardrobes, and a study desk area.
  • A quiet space – 2nd living room area.
  • Access to secure broadband Wi-Fi, Sky TV, Netflix, and a communal PC & printer.
  • Opportunity to access to other social TV platforms for free such as Amazon Prime and Apple TV based on our service user award and recognition scheme.

Our accommodation is located within easy reach and walking distance of local transport links-buses, rail, and motorways- shops, amenities and education services, parks, and leisure facilities. Contact us for more information

Our specialised, intensive, independent living support package are aligned to, and directed by, the preferences of the young adults in accordance with an individual’s care plan, social worker, families, parents, and other allied professionals’ requests and preferences.

Our Young Adults Services

We principally deliver where required 24/7 wrap-around, commissioned accommodation and life-skills training services to young adults who may be care leavers, refugees, homeless people who are 18+ and above.

This involves provision of on-site experienced qualified staff who will work with and support service users, acting as advisors, mentors and coaches.

Outreach

Dazzling Futures also offer a transition service which involves delivering an outreach program to those leaving us moving on into their own self-contained flat or unsupported private accommodation.

In addition, we offer a 1:1 floating outreach support to young adults who reside outside of our facility, as a stand-alone service.

Employment Opportunities

  • 1:1 support, webinars and seminars, and general guidance and advice from an experienced employability advisor on aspects of preparing for, and finding, a job.
  • In addition to this, sign posting and access to a range of volunteering opportunities through our network of business contacts, for those wanting work experience to enhance their skill sets, or who enjoy being of service to others.
  • We also deliver health & wellbeing seminars, webinars and workshops to service users.
  • We aim to offer a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led service throughout all our practices.
  • Young adults will be given mentorship as part of their care plan or general life skills development in a range of areas in addition to those listed below.

  • ESOL Classes Entry to Level 1 and 2.
  • In house specialist support for refugees – sign posting, advice and guidance, and light counselling story-telling group and 1:1 sessions as part of a healing process.
  • Access to functional & further education qualified tuition in professional in Maths and English.
  • Access and direction to holistic therapies.
  • In house professional employability skills training (assistance in preparing a Curriculum Vitae, interview preparation and technique skills, job applications – employment, apprenticeships, college and university applications, and volunteering opportunities).
  • Self-employment business enterprise skills training – preparing a business plan and financial planning.
  • Shopping & budgeting
  • Food preparation & hygiene – fun and nutritious affordable cooking advice and cake baking (above are examples our team have made).
  • In-house arts and musical theatre exploratory workshops.
  • Personal care and hygiene advice and guidance where requested, incl. safe use of household appliances.
  • Hobbies & activities – enrichments to local recreation services and other service users group initiatives.
  • Access to therapeutic support – dealing with life’s issues.
  • Guidance in building healthy social and family relationships.
  • Digital platform based activities and training.
  • Personal financial planning – education and money management.
  • Helping individuals to access private driving lessons.
  • ESG advice in relation to the service and accommodation.
  • A range of workshops and seminars exclusive to Dazzling Futures Services.
  • Access and signposting and guidance around staying safe – drugs, alcohol, abuse, gangs, sexual exploitation, social media misuse etc.
